About the Carver Bruce
(Buzz) Albright is a professor at East Carolina University, Department of Physical
Therapy and resides in Winterville, NC with his wife Aura. In
2000, he was introduced and instructed in songbird carving by an elder master
carver in a nearby town. His carving displays have won awards at regional
competitions. He and Ernest have been Christian brothers for more
than 15 years.
As he says,” The Lord brought song bird carving into
my life to heal a broken spirit and to reacquaint me with who I am and the saving
grace of Jesus. Carving brings me joy, peace and refuge in His spirit. Though
